Burt's Bees is without a doubt one of my favorite skincare brands. I love that their products are made almost entirely with natural ingredients which are naturally sourced. On top of that, all of their packaging is recyclable AND they're Carbon Neutral certified! Not to mention that I haven't met a Burt's Bees product that I didn't want to make my best friend... and by that I mean buy again. Trust me when I say I buy these products over and over again! With that thought in mind, here are a few of my current favorite Burt's Bees products that I can't get enough of.
The Facial Cleansing Towelette:
These towelettes come in six different varieties; I have the Micellar and Pink Grapefruit versions. Not only are these towelettes effective at removing makeup at the end of the day, but they are great, too, for a general refresh on makeup-free days. I love to use them right after I finish working out when I know that it's going to be a little bit before I get to shower. I even took a pack to Disney World to keep my face feeling fresh throughout the hot (HOT) days in the park! Because they are prepackaged and don't require any extra effort (There's no need to rinse afterward!), they are easy to throw in your purse or backpack. These towelettes are definitely a must-have!
Brightening Moisturizing Cream:
I would have to say that moisturizing is probably the best part of my daily routine. I love the feeling and happy glow this moisturizer gives my skin. The Daisy Extract that is used in this moisturizer helps to brighten skin and alleviate any issues in tone (dark spots, discoloration) and I can say that it has done its job! The non-greasy formula soothes my skin at the same time that it makes it come alive, leaving my skin looking fresh and radiant every morning. It works wonderfully underneath makeup and keeps my skin feeling hydrated and boosted throughout the entire day! It's quick to absorb too, so even when I'm in a hurry it stays my favorite go-to moisturizer.
Skin Nourishment Night Cream:
Like I said, I love to moisturize! I use this night cream before bed each night to help my skin retain its youthful spirit. I like to think that this night cream is giving my skin a warm hug every time I use it. The creamy formula lays on smoothly and makes my skin feel nourished and reenergized after a long day's work. It is meant to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, and though I don't particularly have wrinkles yet, my mom always told me that it's never too early to start preparing for them! I can't think of a better way to start than with this nourishing night cream.
Brightening Skin Perfecting Serum:
Similar to the Brightening Moisturizer, this serum gives its brightening qualities from Daisy Extract. This serum helps to generally even skin tone and specifically aids in brightening dark spots and evening discoloration. Most of my uneven skin tone surrounds my chin and cheeks, and since adding this serum (in combination with the Brightening Moisturizing Cream) to my skincare routine, I can say that I see a noticeable difference in not only the evenness of my skin tone but the brightness as well. I typically use it at night to wake up looking like I got a great night's sleep no matter what the fact of the matter is! It looks great under makeup too on the days when I want a little extra boost!
Herbal Complexion Stick:
Last but surely not least is the Herbal Complexion Stick. This blend of Tea Tree Oil and Willow Bark Extract is perfect for fight off blemishes of any kind. Not only do these ingredients help to unclog pores and exfoliate the skin, but they soothe and smooth while doing so. This product is one that I can feel working as soon as I roll it on. Though the smell is a bit strong, it doesn't come from harsh chemicals or ingredients like many other blemish fighters. And, honestly, this complexion stick works much better on my skin in comparison to products with a similar goal (salicylic acid, benzoyl peroxide). It not only makes blemishes disappear, but it leaves my skin feeling stronger and as though nothing ever went awry!
